Miss Xcalibur Club 2011 "Wonderland" as in Alice in Wonderland
Categories
Presentation: This will be a non-judged category. Each contestant will come out and introduce themselves in anything black of their own choosing. Guest Performers/Entertainers will be presented in red.
Creative Costume: Each contestant will put together an outfit that best represents their interpretation of the theme, excepting Alice or the Mad Hatter, in keeping with the theme, "Wonderland". Again, you may NOT be Alice or the Mad Hatter. Examples may include: The Pool of Tears, The Tea Party, The Royal Court, etc., or a specific character. Your choice is intirely up to you and may be a representation of the movie, staring Johnny Depp or the books, Alice in Wonderland "Through the Looking Glass", "The Looking Glass Wars", "Seeing Red" and "Arch Enemy". Contestants will be judged on originality, theme, and overall audience appeal. Colors are diverse in Wonderland. Reds, black and white may be your choice. Perhaps blues, greens, purples and yellows or maybe butterflies, mushrooms and caterpillars.
Evening Gown/Onstage Question: Each contestant will wear a full length gown of their choosing and free model for the judges then answer a pre-chosen question. Contestants will be judged on poise, grace, fit of gown, appeal, comfort on the microphone and content of answer.
Talent: Each contestant will perform a talent number of their choosing that is to be between 3 and 6 min in length. If set up time is needed (helpers, props, etc.) there is 4 minutes total allowed for set up before and tear down after the number.
Audience Choice: To be voted on be the audience the night of the pageant. Winner will be awarded a plaque and flowers.
